Join us at The Old Fort in Seaview as we unite to celebrate 80 years of peace since the end of Word War II. We will be lighting a beacon in recognition of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, at 2130hrs on an old pillbox outside The Old Fort, with a special VE Day tribute from a guest speaker. As well as the lighting of the beacon, we will be putting on a fish & chip special and cakes to mark this historic 80th anniversary of VE Day. We do hope that you along with other families and communities of our great nation can come together to unite and celebrate 80 years of peace since the end of Word War II in Europe remembering the so many millions that paid the ultimate sacrifice. Please note: our outside tables are available on a first come first served basis. Indoor tables available to book as usual via our website at theoldfortseaview.co.uk or by calling 01983 612 363 and we will be putting on a Fish & Chip special which includes a pint of beer, a medium house wine or a soft drink for £17.50. Booking always strongly advised to avoid disappointment. As we are situated right on the waters edge, this is all subject to the great British weather and change (please keep an eye out on our social media channels).
