Concert for Peace

Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Council’s working together with Experian, Arc Partnership, VIA East Midlands, will stage a concert to celebrate the end of the World War Two. This outdoor show will be held on Sunday 4 May 2025 at Nottingham War Memorial, Victoria Embankment NG2 2AA.
The aim is twofold, firstly, to pay tribute to those that endured six years of war, and who ultimately secured peace. Secondly, to highlight the sounds and songs of the war time era and up to the present day.
Participants:
The Band of the Royal Engineers, Nottingham Military Wives Choir, and the Ukrainian Community Choir. Audience participation, sing along, is encouraged.
Audience:
General public, all ages and backgrounds – anticipated at no-more than 2500.
Design:
Family – Picnic style, bring along your own, chairs, blankets, food and drink. Vendors will be on site.
