Lighting a Lamp Light of Peace
There will be events taking place at Basildon University Hospital, Broomfield Hospital and Southend University Hospital. The events will be aligned where possible to the national programme, including raising the 80th anniversary of VE Day flag, a service taking place including The Tribute, The National Anthem and lighting the lamp of peace. The plan is for all of these to take place at the three acute hospitals, and for the service to be broadcast across our hospital radio. We will also have a quiz available on the day and are exploring the potential of fish and chips being available.
