VE Day 80 years

Starting from 8.00 am to 10.pm we will be holding activities in our village for our residents and their families. During the day the primary school has a varied programme. Residents can have lunch of fish and chips or tea of fish and chips at the local pub. The evening’s activities start at 8 pm on our recreation field where our beacon will be and we will have music and a choir and from 9-10 the timed activities with our VIP to give the tribute. Photographs will be taken throughout the day and a press release is planned. We have residents who will be receiving certificates of recognition and achievement and a fancy dress (40’s style) prize.
