VE Day 80 – Celebration and Beacon Lighting

• 9am – VE Day Proclamation as the VE Day 80 flag is raised.
• 9am – VE Day Proclamation given by our very own star comedian Mr Don Reid Broadcast from the Church and distributed on the CCC WhatsApp Group
• 12am Bag Pipes play the VE Day Music Celebratum – broadcast from St.Davids and on the CCC WhatsApp Group

• St.Davids Church VE Day Evening Celebration

• 7pm Tea and Ann Hignett Sausage Rolls and the WI VE Day Cakes (Orange and Ginger)
• 7pm – 9pm Music and Videos providing the sounds and images from VE Day 1945
• 8.15pm – The VE day Proclamation (Adrian Burrows)
• 8.30pm – Lighting of the VE Day Beacon (official lighting time is 9.30pm)
• 8.30pm – Singing of “ I Vow to Thee My Country”
• 9pm Event Closes
