Join us to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day in Perth city centre Flag raising – 9am raising of the VE Day 80 flag and laying of wreaths at the Veterans’ Memorial, St John Street, Perth PH1 5SZ – 9.15am Carillon plays until 9.30am at St John’s Kirk – 9.30am raising of the VE Day 80 flag and laying of wreaths at the 51st Memorial, North Inch, Perth PH1 5HS Commemorative service – 11am-12.15pm, St John’s Kirk, Perth – Church carillon plays 12.15pm Street entertainment 10am-3pm in St John Street, King Edward Street, St John’s Place and High Street, Perth. Includes display of vintage military vehicles and re-enactors in Perth city centre and performances from Perth and District Pipe Band, Perthshire Brass and The McAndrew Sisters
