Mentmore Village VE Street Party

We are holding a street party to start at 4 pm on the Village Green on 8th May 2025. We thought children would be home from school and workers can leave work a little early!Everyone will bring sharing plates of sandwiches – fillings representative of the war time ie spam, egg, jam – homemade cakes, homemade ginger beer. We’ll be playing music of the ‘40s and will have a swing dance group demonstrating and encouraging everyone to participate. Traditional games and joining in the national commemorations
